What does travel mean to you?
Being able to enrich our own lives through the understanding of others’ cultures and lifestyles. Seeing and appreciating the beauty of nature in the world!
Where are you from?
I was born in Nevada and lived there until 12, moved to Southern California through junior high and high school, lived in Salt Lake City for the 13 years, and just recently moved back to SoCal to live in San Diego!

How and why did you start blogging?
After having Talonavicular Fusion (foot surgery), I found myself bored all day in bed waiting for it to heal. I started my blog as an outlet for the creative energy I needed to use!
What has been your favorite trip?
Honestly, I’m not sure! I have a lot of favorite places and stories, but all include adventuring like a local with my husband in new cities. I loved visiting London and realizing that they actually have delicious food, tons of culture and diversity, and some of the best shopping in the world!

What was your favorite travel moment?
There isn’t just one, but I think the best stories, looking back, were always a bit of a tough travel moment that required grit! I also loved kayaking and snorkeling in Maui. We were able to see turtles and it was a magical experience.
What advice would you give to others who are just starting their blog?
Treat your blog like a business! Pay taxes, get a mentor and study, budget your time and finances, and hold yourself with the confidence that you ARE a business owner!
