What is your blog about?

My blog is about a tall girl style and millennial travel on a budget. I like finding places off the beaten path that may not be on every person travel guide but places that are rich in culture and allow you to really experience where you’re traveling.

What does travel mean to you?

Traveling to me is something that everyone was put on the earth to do. Why would all of these gorgeous places exist if we weren’t meant to go and explore and live and enjoy to the fullest! It’s in my soul to go!

Where are you from?

Nashville, TN – Music City!

How and why did you start blogging?

I started blogging as part of a class project when I was studying abroad in Ireland. I blogged off and on over the years and when I was working in state government as a social media coordinator, I picked blogging up again to bring out my creative side. It took off and I was able to quit my job four years ago!

What has been your favorite trip?

Santorini! I spent a week hiking, exploring, eating, and living my best life! When I’m having a bad day, I pretend I’m back at my happy place, on a boat enjoying the sunshine and blue waters of Greece.

What was your favorite travel moment?

Walking into the Duomo in Milan. It was such a powerful experience seeing something so beautiful in person. I lit a candle, shed a tear and said a prayer of thankfulness that I was able to experience this wonder in person. It was a once in a lifetime moment!

What advice would you give to others who are just starting their blog?

If you see something working for others it doesn’t mean it’ll work for you! Be authentic to your true self. Your audience will know what’s you and what is you trying to fit in. And also, don’t buy followers.
